Lycoming Crank Kit for IO-540-K1C5 Large Journal
Condition: Overhauled less than 3 hours running- ready for installation
I purchased this Lycoming IO-540-K1C5 large journal engine along with Glasair III kit recently. Includes bearings SL-11575/SL-13885, piston rods 75484/LW10646, pistons ASC11487 1828-5STD, crank gear, counterweights Removed from fresh overhauled engine with less than 3 hours, then stored full of preservative oil. Still had assembly grease throught engine so I doubt it ran the 3 hours fully. I have reciept from shop who built engine for owner. If you are looking to build large journal Lycoming 540 this setup is ready to drop into case and fresh cylinders. I would use bearings and even rings on pistons but thats your call.

Condition: New
When building new Lycoming engines with the EFii electronic fuel and ignition or Lightspeed ignition, there are many parts you can remove in the engine. I found that these plates where necessary to cover pads on the rear of the engine as well as holes where mag gears used to go. If you don’t the oil ports will flow too much oil reducing the overall oil pressure achievable in the engine.
